Meet Tyler

Hey, my name is Tyler Silva. I’m 18 years old and from Bayside Community Church in Florida. I have a heart for missions because it’s what God has called me to do over the past two years, and during that time, I’ve experienced Him move in incredible and beautiful ways.
One moment that really impacted me was during my first trip to Guatemala. We were doing house visits, and we met a girl who had suffered a stroke—she had lost her sight and the ability to speak. Despite everything she had been through, her desire to keep serving the Lord and her church deeply inspired me. Her faith reminded me to keep going, no matter what I face.
I love the challenge that comes with missions, and I know it’s part of God’s plan for my life. In Matthew 28:18-19, Jesus tells us to go and make disciples of all nations—and that’s exactly what I’m committed to doing: sharing His love and truth wherever He sends me.
